Spectrum Taekwondo
Spectrum Taekwondo is a specialized program designed specifically for students on the autism spectrum and those with related developmental needs. Classes emphasize consistency, clear routines, and individualized support, creating a respectful and inclusive training environment where students can build confidence, coordination, and engagement through Taekwondo.
What is Spectrum TKD?
Spectrum Taekwondo was developed at Jiho Choi Taekwondo to meet the needs of students on the autism spectrum through a thoughtful, structured approach to traditional Taekwondo training. Classes are individualized and tailored to each student, with instruction adapted to support different learning styles, pacing, and needs.
Classes are offered in multiple formats to support different learning styles and comfort levels. Students may participate in private lessons, which provide one-on-one instruction and focused attention, or they may choose to train within our standard class offerings, where they receive specialized support while participating in a broader group setting alongside a mix of students.
